Turkey Meatballs Recipe

Turkey Meatballs Recipe

If you are a fan of meatballs you will love this turkey meatballs recipe. The thing I love most about this recipe is the texture the meatballs have, it isn’t the usual spongy texture you usually get with traditional style meatballs.  I sometimes bake these when I am preparing the rest of the meal like a pasta and garlic breads.  If you want to bake them just spray a baking sheet and spread them on them out. I bake at 350 for 30-35 mins, in case you want to go that route.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs

Directions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients and shape into 30 meatballs roughly 1 inch across
  2. Spray a nonstick frying pan lightly
  3. Cook the meatballs for 5-6 minutes or until cooked through and nicely browned on the outside
