Pork Tenderloin Recipe

This is a great pork tenderloin recipe but it takes a long time to get read if you want the best results. Do not let the time it takes to prepare and cook this because it is so tasty.
Once you make this you won’t be able to get enough of it. If you don’t have time to marinate that is fine, it will still come out delicious, it is just best to do it 24 hours prior if you have the foresight.

One time I decided to marinate it in garlic powder for 20 minutes and then cook it because I was strapped for time and surprisingly it turned out to taste great. So if you need to get started in a hurry this method may be something you can try. let me know what you think in the comments below.

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme

  1. Mix salt, pepper, thyme & garlicĀ in a bowl.
  2. Rub mixture over tenderloin and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Heat olive oil over medium high heat. and brown pork on all sides, approximately 7 minute total.
  4. Remove pork and place in a pan(9x13x2).
  5. Add enough water to come up to bottom edge of pork (about a half inch). I rinse my frying pan and scrape blackened bits.
  6. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for approximately 45 to 50 minutes.
  7. Boil the drippings and add a little cornstarch mixed with water to it for gravy. Season with salt & pepper.
