Do you happen to be running late or do you just want a quick protein rich meal? Well this meal is not only quick but it is packed with full of protein and tastes great. This ground chicken recipe is so simple you could be eating it in 15 minutes if you start now. Each serving of this dish has about 25 grams of protein, that is about 7 grams more than most similar sized quarter pound patties you will find at the fast food places. Since I don’t know how to make a good bbq sauce for chicken I use Sweet baby Ray’s: Original BBQ Sauce
because it gives the ground chicken a great taste and you can pick this up at most places(at least around me) as well as any Wal-Mart. You can use what ever your favorite type of BBQ sauce happens to be and if you have other suggestions for a good BBQ sauce please post them in the comments so I can give them a try sometime. I like to eat this dish as is with some vegetables because they can also be quickly prepared and grilled along side the ground chicken, but you can just as easily make it a burger if you have some buns laying around. - 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 5 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- Mix the ground chicken and everything else except for 1/2 of the barbecue sauce.
- Grill at desired thickness on barbecue.
- While the chicken is grilling add rest of the barbecue sauce.
